the evening is meant to feel relaxed. arrive from six, settle in with cocktails and dinner, join us at half past eight before the celebration continues. other day-of information is below.

about the evening

  • this year, our tree will be trimmed together. if you'd like to participate, bring one ornament — anything meaningful to you, in any style. when you arrive, we'll provide a ribbon and a small tag if you'd like to share a bit about it

    we'll take care of the rest

  • we’re celebrating our marriage with the people we love and care about

    some traditional itinerary items common at weddings (e.g., seated dinner, first dances, timed events, bouquet throwing) won’t happen here

  • Sebastian and Logan will be officially married at a private ceremony before the evening begins; we’ll exchange our vows with our guests ~8:30PM local time

  • after vow exchange, we’ll have time for anyone to share a toast/speech

timing

  • guests are welcome to arrive from 6pm, at their leisure. there’s no specific arrival-by time. below are main points of the evening:

    • host will greet guests at the center’s entrance until ~7pm,

    • dinner available ~7-8pm

    • vows 8:30pm

    • venue closure 11:30pm

    if you arrive after 7PM, simply head inside

  • a buffet of Mexican dishes and pastries will be available from approximately 7 to 8pm

    there will be seating and tables

    there will not be assigned seating or assigned tables

    guests are not expected to dine with us if they would like to arrive later, dinner will be unavailable after 8:15 pm

  • the evening with Kimball Arts concludes around 11:30pm local time.

    Kimball Arts is situated in Chicago’s most eclectic neighborhood, about 25 minutes (with normal traffic) Northwest of Willis Tower by car

    we recommend using preferred ride hail or car services in wintery conditions

    Kimball Arts does not have onsite parking.

    O’hare Airport (ORD) features the most connections/stops. access Uber Black and car services from any terminal, and access ride hail from Terminal 2. O’hare is 40-75 minutes from the City by car, traffic dependent
